That was no surprise. My hometown team, the Golden State Warriors, losing to the Memphis Grizzlies 110-91 on Wednesday night was unfortunate, yes, but it was definitely no surprise. The W's were coming off of a thrilling overtime loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night, so to expect them to win the second of back-to-back road games just wasn't right. Of course, you probably shouldn't lose a game by 19 points no matter what the situation, but at least the Warriors put up a fight - for part of the game anyway.

If the Oklahoma City Thunder needed a wakeup call, it came Tuesday night, March 29, against the Golden State Warriors. Maybe the team began to relax when they clinched the playoff spot on Sunday, March 27. The fans obviously believed the Thunder were invincible against a team like Golden State. Fans trailed out of the Oklahoma City Arena late in the fourth quarter, their Oklahoma City Thunder leading the Warriors by ten. Unfortunately, it was disappointing as a W's fan, as it resulted in yet another tough loss, this one in overtime, 115-114 . Losing to the Thunder is nothing to be ashamed of. Not only are they one of the best young teams in the league, but they are absolutely enormous (and skilled) inside, which as we all know, is where the Warriors have been known to struggle a bit - alright,...

The Los Angeles Lakers are tearing up the league since the NBA All-Star break with only one loss to their credit. Last season the Lakers rested players and stumbled their way in the NBA Playoffs and barely got kick started in time to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round. Now with the Lakers getting hot in the last 20 games many fans are asking, is it too soon? The Lakers are a team that has a history of hitting the switch once the NBA Playoffs begin.
