Forward Nick Collison will not participate in the Oklahoma City Thunder's training camp because of a bone bruise in his left knee. The Thunder announced the decision Tuesday. Oklahoma City plays its first preseason game Oct. 6 against Charlotte in Fayetteville, N.C., but the regular season is a month away.

Oklahoma City Thunder center Nenad Krstic is recovering after undergoing surgery to repair a broken finger on his right hand. The Thunder said Tuesday the procedure was performed by team physicians in Oklahoma City. Krstic was injured in the final game of this year's world championship in Istanbul.
