Sam Presti has agreed to a multiyear contract extension to remain the general manager of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Team chairman Clay Bennett announced the deal Thursday but did not reveal terms. Presti finished second in the voting for the NBA's executive of the year award last season after the Thunder had a league-best 27-win improvement.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed free agent Royal Ivey to add depth to their backcourt. General manager Sam Presti announced Wednesday that Oklahoma City had signed the 6-foot-4 guard, who has averaged 3.6 points in six NBA seasons with Atlanta, Milwaukee and Philadelphia. Presti says Ivey will bring a defensive mentality, competitive nature and professionalism to the team.
