Oklahoma City Thunder guard/forward Desmond Mason, left, drives to the basket as New Jersey Nets guard Vince Carter, right, defends in the first half of an NBA basketball game in Oklahoma City, Monday, Jan. 26, 2009. Oklahoma City won 94-85.

The fact that the Thunder's normally rowdy crowd was kept away by icy weather didn't keep the team from putting together one of its most impressive wins. Kevin Durant scored nine of his 18 points in the decisive third quarter, and the Thunder enjoyed big advantages at the free throw line and on the boards to beat the New Jersey Nets 94-85 Monday night in front of just 5,000 fans.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Kevin Durant (35) goes up for a shot as Los Angeles Clippers forward Al Thornton, left, defends during the second half of an NBA basketball game, Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, in Los Angeles. The Clippers won 107-104.

Eric Gordon began this season as a rookie and a reserve point guard. Due to an abundance of injuries that have decimated the Los Angeles Clippers' roster, he's getting substantial minutes and is playing like a polished veteran. Gordon scored a career-high 41 points in 43 1/2 minutes on the court, and Al Thornton had a season-high 34 points, leading the Clippers to a 107-104 victory over Kevin...
